Director, Anna Gaines Johnson

Anna Gaines started teaching at MSCS in 2017 and became the director in 2018.  She has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in Human Sciences. Her concentration area is in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Studies. Anna Gaines also has a Pre-Kinder-Kindergarten teaching certificate for the state of Mississippi.

Assistant Director – Taylor Cabiness

                Taylor joined the MSCS staff in 2018. She has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in Human Sciences. Her concentration area is in Human Development and Family Studies with in emphasis in Family studies. Taylor became the Assistant Director in 2021 and is also one of our three-year-old teachers.

 Four-Year-Old Teacher – Gaines Gaskin

                Gaines started teaching at MSCS in 2002. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women. She has over 30 years of teaching experience in lower elementary and preschool classrooms.

 Three-Year-Old Teacher – Beth Easterling

                Beth first started teaching at MSCS in 2012 and returned in 2022. She has a bachelors and masters degree in Elementary Education. She has spent the last 10 years teaching kindergarten and preschool.

 Two-Year-Old Teacher – Judy Woolbright

                Judy first started teaching at MSCS in 2005 and returned in 2019. Judy has over 30 years’ experience teaching preschool-aged children.

 Two-Year-Old Teacher – Tara White

                Tara first started teaching at MSCS in 2021. She has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood education and over 20 years’ experience teaching preschool aged children.
